APPEARANCE
- Deep tracks on title and disc surface
REASONS
- Excessive pad and disc wear can cause the backing plate to move inside the caliper. In this case, the backing plate of the worn pad will come loose from its seat in the caliper, causing marks between the head and the disc surface.
EFFECTS
- Extremely low braking efficiency with long pedal stroke and loud noise.
SOLUTION
- Replace brake discs and brake pads. Check the caliper and repair if necessary.
