REASONS
- When the braking tension cracks the friction material support plate and brake pads in the caliper holder tightens. Wear worsens this by separating the friction material and the backplate.
EFFECTS
- Brake noise and soft pedal feel
- Brakes will not work when material is separated
SOLUTION
- Replace the entire brake pad assembly.
- Clean and maintain the caliper for easy montage of the caliper during installation.
