APPEARANCE
- Uneven wear or tapered pads
REASONS
- The caliper is broken and the caliper slides are stuck
- Excessive caliper play
EFFECTS
- Early wear of the pads during braking
- Unbalanced braking pressure
SOLUTION
- Replace the pad kit, maintain and service the caliper
Note: Some vehicles use tapered pads by design. See tool application to determine if outside normal taper measurements.
