APPEARANCE
- Metal retention on friction surface
REASONS
- Small particles break off from the disc surface during braking. These are usually burned into dust from intense heat. they are often burned to dust by intense heat. In extremely wet conditions, it gets wet and cools rapidly as a solid material and adheres to the brake pad surface.
EFFECTS
- Generally this does not have a significant impact on braking performance, but in extreme cases can cause disc damage or brake squealing.
SOLUTION
- In extreme cases, replace discs and pads.
